ATG Developer Contract - Chicago

Your primary responsibilities will focus on the migration of our domestic and international marketing websites to ATG. Included in this scope of responsibilities you will also be accountable for:  * Designing new solutions within the framework of web architecture and on-line commerce platform * Configuring on-line commerce platforms  * Leading a team of on-site and off shore contract developers on a project delivery basis * Ensuring and implementing pre-release excellence in testing and quality assurance methodology.  Additional responsibilities include developing technical documentation for all assigned work, providing on-going maintenance of commerce sites, assisting with other web development work and driving continuous improvement relating to systems development. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent combination of education/certification(s) and experience  At least 3 years of professional experience in the development and implementation of Java-based websites and applications, in particular eCommerce applications  At least 1+ year of experience successfully developing and deploying eCommerce websites using ATG Commerce Suite with previous deployment experience of at least 2 similar sized projects from end to end using ATG platform  Thorough understanding of web/Internet technologies, business concepts, security issues and networking standards  Firm understanding of web based database applications  Strong communication skills with the ability to relate to diverse groups of internal and external clients to include vendors, consultants, designers and developers  Preferred Qualifications Experience with web server architecture, content management systems and/or search technology  Experience with other on-line commerce platforms For more information, please contact us at info@ips-beintegral.com.
